New Office Enables SyncStream to Accelerate Growth and Collaboration

“We are thrilled to open the doors of the SyncStream headquarters. An office is important; It's your professional home away from home,” said Shannon Scott, CEO of SyncStream, and parent company OnCentive. “The SyncStream team is incredibly close with their teammates, partners, and clients and this new office gives them the freedom and space to foster connection and collaboration.”
In 2019, SyncStream transitioned all employees to work virtually which most employers followed suit in 2020 due to the pandemic. With most SyncStream employees living in New Orleans and the surrounding areas, many home offices were damaged by Hurricane Zeta in 2020 and Hurricane Ida in 2021.
Once OnCentive acquired SyncStream in April 2022, Shannon Scott, OnCentive & SyncStream CEO, thought it was imperative to re-open an office to where the ACA technology company first started as a way to collaborate and better engage with the local business community.
About SyncStream:

If you’ve ever found yourself squinting at ACA terms that read more like acronym soup than common sense, you’re not alone. For many employers, keeping up with the Affordable Care Act still feels like navigating a maze — one lined with confusing terms, shifting standards, and high-stakes consequences. The frustration is real. So is the risk.

If you thought last year’s compliance season was a challenge, buckle up. 2025 is already shaping up to be a regulatory rollercoaster, with HR teams in the front seat. Executive orders are emerging, ACA reporting requirements are shifting and IRS scrutiny is on the rise. And that’s just the stuff we know about.
